Pearls

  • Linear palpable cord; tubular hypoechoic / anechoic structure on US without flow.
  • Self-limited; NSAIDs for pain; resolves over weeks.
  • Distinguish from inflammatory breast cancer (diffuse skin thickening + erythema).
